Dave Carbone

David Carbone has over 30 years of experience in the marching and pageantry arts as a performer, educator, arranger, and adjudicator, including a 23 year career as a band director and music educator at the high school and collegiate levels.  His marching ensembles have consistently advanced to Bands of America (BOA) Regional and Super Regional Championship Finals competitions, have earned multiple BOA Grand National Class Championships, and have “medaled” at the Winterguard International World Percussion Championships.  At James Martin HS in Texas, Mr. Carbone’s concert ensembles earned the coveted UIL “Sweepstakes” Award every year of his tenure, 8-years consecutively.   


Mr. Carbone is an active adjudicator for Music For All, Bands of America, Winterguard International, and Drum Corps International as well as several local and regional circuits nation-wide.  Mr. Carbone resides in the Hilton Head Island area of South Carolina where he lives with his wife Carrie and two children Beckett and Jordan.


Adam Jatho

Composer, arranger, show conception, brass specialist

Adam Jatho is a real estate professional in the Houston area in Texas and previous to that served for three years as the Assistant Director of Bands at Clear Brook High School in Friendswood, TX. His responsibilities included the direction of the Symphonic Band, and assisting with the Wind Ensemble, Concert Band I, Concert Band II and Marching Band.


Prior to his position at Clear Brook High School, Adam taught as an assistant at James Martin High School in Arlington, Texas.


The 2019 season will be his second year as a brass instructor with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps. He has been a member of the brass staffs with The Blue Stars, Carolina Crown, and Madison Scouts. 


As a student, Adam marched with the San Antonio Revolution (2005), The Cadets (2008), and Carolina Crown (2006-2007, 2009-2011).


Adam graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. His professional affiliations include the

Texas Music Educators Association, the Texas Bandmasters Association, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
